This was 4 and a half hours car to car at the Upper Mount Townsend trailhead. I don't recommend the North facing bushwack I did on the return from the summit. Steep and many opportunities to be cliffed-out. Thought it might be better than down-climbing the route I went up due to the thin snow over rock footing. Conditions would be improved by either more snow covering or none at all.
Beautiful clear day with great closeup views of Buckhorn and Iron Mountain most of the day, Deception and Mystery from Buckhorn Pass area to Marmot and even Glacier Peak and Mount Baker and Mount Shuksan at times.
Jonathan Ramirez's track log
Ran low on battery so do not show the whole climb.
