It’s about a 0.8mile walk from the parking lot to the trailhead...flat and on private property...they don’t mind the hikers.
The climb to Whiteface is tough...toward the end there’s rock scrambling...awesome views. There’s no view at the actual peak...it’s on the actual trail.
The 2 miles to Passconaway is on the ridge...super easy and some downs. The climb to the peak is not bad, couple switchbacks. I went up Dicey Mill and came down Walden trail. That’s the best way. There’s a lookout and no view at the top...actual peak is at a dead end.
