Great Fall colors hike. Lots to see. Several look outs as well as an old Swedish Farmstead. Difficulty 3/10. Some long hills that are fairly steep for short lengths. Most of trail is crazy nice!

Sweet walk around Black Lake. Pretty easy walk. Trail never really gets very close to the lake, so be prepared to get a little scratched up trying to get to the shoreline. Tons of flies/mosquitoes in July, but trail had been cleared and was in great shape. Enjoyed the interpretive handout, but most numeric signposts were rotted and down. Black Lake was a favorite family camping destination back in the early 1970s when I was a kid. Not much has changed, thankfully. Beautiful place.
