Day 2 Methow Bear Creek Friday Lunch Activity
Beautiful open easy to follow the trail. Was a backup to Pipestone Canyon which was closed to protect wildlife for 4 more days

    Pipestone Canyon (7/24/20, 11:28:04AM)
Primitive road to get to start of trail. Fee pay area according to signs. $35.00 for online annual pass or $11.50 for day. 60 percent of trail follows an old two track road. Most of hike in open area with little shade so pick your time to hike this trail wisely. Wooded area half mile long at most and lake is small.

    Pipestone Canyon Rim
In mid-June this is a beautiful hike through wildflowers, with green hills for a backdrop. A little less than 2 miles in you reach a breathtaking view of Pipestone Canyon.

    Bowen Mountain Loop Hike
Very breezy partly sunny weather. I enjoyed this loop hike a lot. Kept on expecting a side trail to go to the summit but could not find one. Birdsong and wildflowers everywhere. This is supposed to be a mountain bike trip.
