Excellent slick-rock, trail-finding, cairn-following, tiny-ledge-walking hike from the remote trailhead up in the mesa, down through the slick rock formations and twisted knobs to the Dirty Devil River. I saw no one else on this hike. Beautiful solitude. According to the faded trail-head sign, this is an old cattle route to get from the mesa top down to the water. How cows did this route, I will never know. You reportedly can wade across the river here to continue on, but I returned to the vehicle. Total time around 4 hours. The road to the trailhead is miles and miles and miles of decent gravel roads, passable by any decent clearance mid-size SUV and up. Any rain and the road may be impassable in areas.

A lot of fun. Easy approach with some fun down climbs. The biggest rappel looked bigger than it was. The 73 feet on the Road Trip Ryan beta was accurate. Exit was a little hard to find as we lost the cairns at the cap rock
