Really fun, most of trails 2 miles beyond warming hut were fresh tracks by me!

The hike was definitely beautiful, though I would not consider this an “easy” trail. Some minor elevation gain, some very thin trail in areas, and lots of small rocks that could roll an ankle. The trail could use some maintenance—the bridge has washed away at the creek crossing, but it’s easy to cross without it. Plenty of mushrooms and plants to view along the way. Definitely buggy, so come prepared with bug spray, layers, and a walking stick!

Some really pretty entry level backpacking. Hidden gem for sure!!

Really great trail, medium difficulty. If you start closest to the parking area you will have a significant climb with some switchbacks near the end. A large portion of the trail mirrors a stream, there are some unmarked trails that branch off, likely old logging trails given the location. Beautiful and lots of fun, there are a few places to camp.
