Nice trail to test out your gear and do as an overnighter , not great water sources. And a fairly easy hike not sure why it’s rated difficult. Nice campsites at mile 12 and 12.5 going clockwise

Wife and I came after a rain storm and didn’t have the right gear for the trip so we canceled. There are a lot of car campers. Other than that we plan to return and hit the loop as soon as it’s dry.

I did the short loop for day hikes yesterday and it was beautiful. I recommend going in spring to spot all the bluebells and other wildflowers.

Very good ATV riding, easily cover all trails in one day. Would recommend.
