This hike went from Platte Clove to Palenville past Buttermilk Falls. Hiked with Ellen, Sharyn, Suzanne, Dawn & Karen. More down than up today.

It’s easy to medium trail. Beautiful views of the mountains and it wasn’t so many people I think because there was rain in the forecast. It rained when we reached the top,there was some thunder and the view was blocked for some time but it felt like we were walking in the clouds. Beautiful experience. Definitely wear adequate footwear, snacks, water and leave no trace.

This was a fun hike. I didn’t realize it was intro dotted line hike no trail blazers to top. Fun hike, had to back track few times to find trail.
