This was our second trip to the Bob Marshall wilderness, it did not disappoint! The only problem we had was some of the trail sings weren’t clearly marked. We were so glad we had downloaded the map to our coros watches, otherwise we would have made a few wrong turns! Saw bears, elk, mule deer and white tail deer, lots of squirrels, chipmunks, a bald eagle, several grouse and too many small birds to count! Also, didn’t realize until halfway thru how to start recording on the Gaia app so didn’t get all 73 miles recorded.

Better day without much climbing and a beautiful sandbar and swimming hole

Nice trail but lots of horse use and hikers. Tomorrow we’ll get to the China Wall

Incredible views of the Chinese Wall. Trail conditions vary. Horses have torn up a lot of it. Campsites are limited off the CDT.

This hike offered some amazing views. We saw grizzly bears in the late evening, horses, deer and some massive trout in the rivers. This area is definitely one I will return to.
