Fun for walking, jogging, biking. Good place to walk dogs (leash needed). Gentle hills except for the one east of the parking lot, which is somewhat steep

Great ride in the woods out of the wind. Saw deer and wild turkey. Lot of beautiful foliage. Trails clearly market. A little mud in low spots.

Excellent well marked trails for horses or wilderness hiking. Can park at any Army Corps accesses. We rode out from near access 24. Crows Creek campground at Smithville Lake has day or overnight parking and a barn with stalls for up to 20 horses. Lake views are excellent from the teails. Highly recommend. It was a destination for Best of America by Horseback TV Show.
