A challenging hike with significant elevation changes at the beginning and end. Very quiet in the middle with little traffic. Beautiful area. Trail winds and has views of the river much of the way. Gets hot but has mostly shade. Bring bug spray!

Best part was the 185 year old pine trees. Otherwise a pretty unremarkable hike.
