I did this on 10/30/21 with some color on the trees and 60 degrees and sunny. Then again on 11/04/23. No leaves, 40 degrees and sunny. Beautiful either way. The 4 miles along the rocks is tough to beat with a beautiful beach to boot. No bugs. I’d like to try in the summer sometime and sit at the beach for a bit. I’m sure timing is everything as far as the bugs go.

Very wet trail (early May 2021). Lots of downed trees. The roughest trail condition of the Picture Rocks trails that we hiked this week. All of the others were in excellent shape - this one, not some much. Chapel Rock and Chapel Falls were very nice sites to see.
