The hike starts out pleasant with a nice path and ample shade. About halfway up Blueberry Mountain, which is a hill really, the path gets very steep. There are stone steps for in the steeps below the summit, which help. The trail up is appropriately named Stone Cairn Trail because that is all there is for way finding.
The trail down has none of the steeps nor exposed rocks nor the spectacular views from Stone Cairn. However, the trail down has no cairns or blazes. Still easy to find but I wonder weather that will e the case when fall leaves cover the Stone House Trail.
