Did this hike on the lake July morning looping counter clockwise. The mosquitoes and gnats were pretty voracious until we got up to blueberry Mountain and then it wasn’t so bad. Nice views across the valley on the blueberry Ridge Trail but no significant views on the way back down. I’d rate this as an easy to moderate hike. Very nice trail, and a good running trail. Can cruise on the way down.

hiked this loop on a late July morning —the mosquitoes gnats and blackflies were pretty voracious until we got up onto the ledges on the blueberry Mountain Trail. A easy to moderate hike cruised on the way down as fast as possible once we got into the bugs again .
