This is an amazing native plant preserve. I say this first because the most important thing to do in this area is to respect the land you are walking on “completely”. Malama Aina. The beautiful smells and beauty of the forest begin as soon as you enter and never stop.

This is my favorite hike on the island. Its about 5 hours round trip at a good pace. Once you get to the top. You can see town and Kailua at the same time on a clear day. It’s amazing feeling the clouds blow into you when they blow over from the Kailua side. Definitely recommend this hike!

If Hawaii isn’t beautiful enough this hike is amazing! Beautiful waterfall. Excellent views! The trail is muddy, slippery and has some elevation gain. But totally worth it. At least a moderate hike, if you hike more then just Manoa Falls May e a difficult hike depending on your ability. Enjoy!!

Go counter clockwise! A little under 6 miles to do the loop. Was muddy entire way, be prepared to slide down descents on hands, feet an ass. Around 5hrs time at a good pace. Not for beginners.
