This is a fun hike that is easy to get to from around Atlanta. With the recent heavy rains, we found several sections of the White trail along the Creek that were washed out between where the trail turns north after Jack's Branch (going counter-clockwise) and where it heads back uphill at the split with the red trail. We had to cut uphill a bit on several sections as the creek had risen far enough to completely flood out the trail. Other sections we just walked through the edge of the creek. Did come across a brown water snake in one of those sections, and a juvenile Eastern King (good to have around!) on another. Also found the biggest crawfish I'd ever seen (about 6" long). With all of the recent rains, there was plenty of wildlife out and about. We hiked on 4/19/19.
