The hike I did is called the Iron Hill trail at Red Top Mt State Park. When I lived in the area I walked this trail after work several times a week. It’s a pretty easy 3.8 mile trail with very little elevation change. There are scenic views of Lake Alatoona and more often than not I’ve seen deer along the way. Access to the trail requires a $5 day use fee.
