Great hike - easy and accessible for all skill levels - with deep wooded area and elevation along different sections. As an inland island with a native forest area, expect mosquitos and flies throughout the trail. Definitely need to prepare for insects. The path is wide and easy to follow. Trail maps are available near the trailhead marker. On the trail, markers denote major marks approximately every 1/2 mile.
One unique aspect of the area is the historical besides Kingsley Plantation and the Ribault Club. Quite interesting to see nature overtaking what was clear cut golf course through one section of this trail.
