Paved trail that is somewhat monotonous. There is a small section of marl mud before the boardwalk at the end of the trail. There is a bench at the end of the boardwalk and great views of Snake Bight and Florida Bay.

This is a short loop trail right off the main road from the Everglades Visitor Center to Flamingo. The path is asphalt, but the vegetation along the sides of the trail has not been well maintained and makes the trail narrow at spots. The most interesting features of the trail are the solution holes.
