Fort Caroline National Memorial is a nature reserve in Northeast Florida operated by the National Park Service. It is part of the Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve. The park contains a replica of Fort Caroline in addition to a visitor center and several nature/hiking trails. Restrooms and water are located at the visitor center.
Getting Started
There is no fee to enter Fort Caroline National Monument. Drive beyond the gate and park in the paved lot outside the visitor center.
When to Go
Check the nps.gov website for current status and hours of operation (https://www.nps.gov/timu/planyourvisit/basicinfo.htm) prior to visiting. The Timucuan Preserve may be closed during a government shutdown (1/2019).

Dogs are welcome in the park but must be on a 6-foot leash at all times.
