We hiked out to the top of a ridge during the super bloom of 2023. It was amazing when we got up close to the foothills and saw the multitude of wildflowers. Yea the distance record is Justine the way back so 3 miles or so round trip.

Good, 2 1/2 hour hike have to be done on a cold day or cool day 1st mile .25 straight up a fucking hill. The rest of the 4.39 miles is down a hill but it’s nice.

The landscape out here is phenomenal. Absolutely beautiful. Can’t recommend a visit enough.

I wouldn’t drive out of my way to do this hike, but if in the area the hike is along the San Andreas fault and has interesting info and visual examples of the plate movement.

Really nice find, ridge line with a nice flat spot 50 yards across with sweeping views on either side
