This is not an easy hike. Make sure you bring plenty of water or a water filter. You’ll travel through forest on a relatively flat trail (stop and check out Johnson Cemetery) until you descend down into the Sipsey Fork valley. Crossing over the Sipsey Fork is pretty easy, but I recommend taking off your shoes and waiting across. Nice sandy bottom. Once you’re on trail 209 you will be hiking with the Sipsey to your left and pass lots of camp spots. You may have to search a bit to find the place to cross back over the Sipsey to climb back up the hill to trail 201. I did it in a day, but it would be a great overnight out and back for camping.

There are some really pretty campsites spread along the trail. Nice area, you can see lots of large boulders in the creek, some tall bluffs, and beautiful trees. Bring plenty of water and expect to run into 20 spider webs.
There were a ton of fallen trees when I went, sometimes I had to sneak through clusters of branches and walk across fallen trunks so be wary that this is a moderate difficulty hike.

One of my favorite trails. I would rate this one hard. The trail is hard to follow and would recommend a mall trails or Gaia to stay on trail. There are like 5 big waterfalls and many smaller ones. Also be prepared to cross the creek a lot! If water level is high you will get wet

Parking is a bit sketchy at this place and the elevation changes are pretty drastic, but the waterfall is beautiful. The temperature drops a solid 20-30 degrees due to the falling water and shaded area. Lovely!

Started at Gum Pond trail and hiked to trail 210. It was a ridge trail with not much that was visually captivating but you are fully alone which is nice. I marked the only campsite I found on 210. I then went to Horse trail 223 and 224. When I reached the beginning of 207, it was the first time I had water to filter since the beginning. Trail 207 was a beautiful trail along the river and was my favorite part of the entire hike. There are plenty of camp sites first mile or two of 207.

Great hike. Lots of bushwhacking with interesting cliff faces and Borden Creek was so clean and pristine at the headwaters.

Beautiful White falls and walk along the creek. Some steep climbs both up and down. Expecting 6 miles and ended up walking almost 9. Not bad for an ole lady 3 1/2 months post back fusion, but I was sure proud to see those trucks in the parking area. Opine was especially good and seemed to have a great time. He did his job and watched after everyone.

The area is a great place to start as a beginner. The trails are easily identified and there is not much terrain to cross other than small creeks. The waterfalls are beautiful and campsites are common along the trails. Parking is great also.

Bliss was good. Beth came n tacked her up and took her to Brock’s for me. I had to get a COVID test for back surgery clearance and almost didn’t make it. B Fell n his bunch were late so we rode out in back. Dee, Tricia, Chad Bowman, Beth n me n Terry Fry We went on ahead cause they stopped every few minutes. Went back on road Tricia’s horse Levi tired.
