Another great hike in Gerês. Was not overly happy about the descent on paved and dusty roads but the ascend and back loop were beautiful.

Beautiful hike in Gerês. We started the trail clockwise and as we descended when we got close the the end we decided to do it backwards so we did it again counterclockwise which is the direction I suggest. Because we did it twice, obviously it is not an 8 mile trail and not a 2000 ft elevation gain :-) but we got that by backtracking.
Highly recommend this trail in early May when the headers and scotch broom are in full bloom.
