Challenging hike up the side of the mountain. Limited marking and plenty of clambering. We turned back at the base of the final cliff face where we spotted the remains of a mill hanging from a tree- likely a leopard kill

Minimalistic hike due to other non-fit tourists joining. No animal encounters, but nice sunset

Nice morning stroll through the bush lands next to Mutlumuvi river that flows to Sand river near by. Dried out at time of walk in dry season end of July. Cool day with likely rain later. No big cat encounters, but elephant herd, Hippo, impala, wilder beasts, zebra, various birds.
