The first 1.5 kilometres can be extremely challenging, especially after rainfall the night before. Exercise caution, as there are many fallen trees and debris along the path. Beyond that, the trail is mostly flat and quite easy to navigate.

The views are absolutely stunning, but it’s crucial to follow the map precisely—any deviation can easily lead you onto one of the many intersecting trails, as the signage is quite misleading. After the old dam, getting back onto the main trail proved tricky; the rocks are extremely slippery, and fallen trees make crossing difficult. At one point, we had to take an alternate path just to reconnect with the main trail. Overall, it was a challenging but incredibly rewarding hike.
