This is a top 10 hike! The gorge is phenomenal. I recommend having lunch at the Hollentalangerhutte. You can sit on their deck and look up at the Zugspitze. The section following the hut is set into the very steep hill side with amazing views.

Bus connection from campsite was easy, took the 8:28 bus, arriving directly at the start point in Hammersbach. Recording was not started immediately. Hiked with my 16 year old daughter. Took it easy, enjoyed the klamm.
Lots of stairs/ steps 😮 on the Rittterweg. Up to the Gipfel was a rope to support/safety. Awesome view at the top of the Hollantor.totally worth the effort. Bahn down, the path down looks easy and sweeping, but not as fun as what we’ve achieved today.
