Parc Naturel Régional des Vosges du Nord is a protected area in eastern France, 50km north from Strasbourg. It is covered by forest. The altitude is below 600m and the slopes are relativily mild. There are 2600km of marked hiking trails within the park, 35 middle-age castle ruins, 115 monuments or location of historical interest and 5 maginot line visitable underground bunkers. The center of gravity of this area is a small town called « La Petite Pierre ».
