Like many alpine hikes, the first hour or so is slugging up through the forest. One you clear the tree line the views open up. There’s a large plateau that includes a small lake. To the west there are good views of Yak and Nak. Rising up towards the peak is the challenging part of the hike. Not for the faint of heart but take it slow and you’ll do just fine. Very pleasant scramble to reach the peak but, oh, so worth it. After all, you’ve come this far!
