The hike is great, but it’s called “Trilha das Sete Quedas”.
It’s a two day recommended hike with a designated camping site about 18 kms into the trail; at the Sete Quedas waterfall.
“Carioquinhas is one of the many falls you can visit along the way, but not the oficial name of the hike (as named by the national parks institute)
Oh, and 8 hours would be an avid hiker with few or no stops to enjoy scenery and waterfalls.
