    Wednesday Morning Activity
The track from the turn off the SCT out to new harbour is hugely degraded. So much mud. Not fun at all. Little bit in the forest just before the end was gorgeous. New harplbour is superb

New harbour to hidden bay return
Gorgeous day hike from New Harbour, due to plans to go further thwarted by weather. A fantastic track! First section is technical but the rest is easy, varying terrain. And lovely! Hidden Bay was insane. Massive sand dunes, saw prints of baby devils playing in the sand. No other human footprints besides ours. Unreal camping spot there, words cannot describe how awesome it is.

Adamson’s Peak, Hartz National Park, Adamson’s Peak, Hartz National Park, Tasmania
Because the maps for this were poor but track notes from various bloggers sharing such differing accounts of this trail I feel we went in expecting nothing but loving every step. It’s a diverse and interesting trail with many historical highlights - so read up on the area before you go. Adamson’s hut was an absolute delight - wasn’t expecting that at all!
