Beautiful ancient lush rainforest with serene little creeks running all through it. Dandahra Falls are so incredibly beautiful. Well worth the walk DOWN and UP! Very steep descent. The last 3.5km were all downhill on bitumen road, not overly interesting but at least I didn’t have to watch my footing for once.

The start and end of the trail were mostly well laid fire trail, but there was a little fun single trail in the middle. Some lovely views of Dandahra creek towards the end but the clear highlight and really, the only reason to do this leg was the Crags. Photos and descriptions simply do not do them justice. They are a must see.
