Nice walk. Good parking, and outhouse at trailhead. Good footing, well maintained. Good variety of scenery from overlook, to pond side, large overhang-stone house in cliff face. Unique disappearing river, rises from under cliff face and then ends in sink a few hundred yards away. Added bonus- the “inverted dome” of the sink structure, makes for some interesting long distance acoustic whispering sites. We were entertained one evening, at close quarters, by a Cinnamon Evening bat performing aero-bat-ics in front of the viewing platform over the pond where the spring disappears into the ground.★ ★ ★ ★
