Overview
This is an easy loop trail in William B. Umstead State Park, a well-maintained and popular, urban green space. Many additional routes are available, but this is a great loop from the easily accessible parking entrance at Reedy Creek.
The trails are spacious, but can still be crowded at peak times, such as after work or on weekends in nice weather.
