Patchy snow in places. Snowmelt meant lots of flowing water, which was nice to see but also meant we had to be careful where we stepped since neither of us had waterproof shoes. Extremely windy during the middle of the hike. Other than that, perfect weather. Beautiful location. Would love to go there again when it's a little less wet.

Cerro La Jara Trail w/ Alex (2023-04-15, 2:59:28PM)
Hiking with Alex. Patchy snow, lots of runoff. Looked cool but made navigation difficult. Extremely windy during the middle third of the hike, but we did find a nice boulder on the hillside that blocked the wind while we rested for a bit.
