Overview

This is a moderate out and back trail to Skookumchuck Trailhead in Franconia Notch State Park. The trail starts at Whitehouse Trailhead. This trail goes by Glacial Boulders, Wolf Den, The Basin, Basin Cascade Trailhead, Lafayette Campground, Lafayette Campground Visitor Center, Franconia Notch, Profiler Plaza, Breeder Pond, Old Man of the Mountain Museum, Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway, New England Ski Museum, and Echo Lake Beach.

Great bike ride down the Franconia Notch Bike Path. Pro tip: drop a vehicle off at the Flume and then drive up to the other end of the trail and start there. A lot less up hill that way.

Franconia Notch Recreational Trail

Solo. Anne dropped me at Flume lot. All paved. Starts with big uphill with up and down to Echo Lake and met Anne there. Most through woods with some along river and big Mountain Views. She picked me up few miles north at trail end and this stretch all gradually downhill except 100 yard uphill that I had to walk.
