Hwy 20 Trailhead Loop via Lower River Run and Upper Jack's(edit)

Another gorgeous day for this late morning ski. Last ski before heading home for a couple of weeks. The upper 12 Km loop had not been groomed in several days and had an inch or two of new snow on it. It seemingly felt slow so I was pleased when I saw I was under an hour for the loop. Maybe I’m getting a little faster after all.

Perhaps the best ski of the season. The heavy snowfall from last week was perfectly groomed and covered the previous dirty trail. Fast conditions. Did the 12 km loop in just under 50 minutes. Glorious!!!!!

Late afternoon ski. Only saw 3 people. Fast conditions and I did not stop. Made an effort to ski fast. About 90 % effort. Happy with my time. Felt good.

Valentine’s ski with Tena. After many days of fast conditions todays loop was on the slow side. Need to get out earlier. Still a nice 40° ski.

Late afternoon lonely ski. Conditions were beautiful but middling as far as speed. Packed powder and high 20s. I think my wax was slow.

Late afternoon ski. Very fast conditions again with only a handful of people on the trail.

First ski of the year. Soft platforms and I skied slowly. Great to get out.

Slowish snow. Had the whole loop to myself. Amazing coverage for November!
