Elangata Wuas Conservancy Road
Difficult: Hard Road Surface: Light sand, deep sand, mud. Notes: A good road for cutting through Elangata Wuas if you're looking to travel to/from Magadi via the southern route and want to avoid a big detour but best avoided if you're not a fan of sand. Deep, long washouts have formed after the rains and can sneak up without much warning. Take it gentle through this often narrow route where the road can sometimes be barely visible.

Mile 46/Elangata Wuas - Bisil/Magadi Road
Difficulty: Medium Road Surface: Weather dependant. Can be lots of sandy sections but otherwise fairly straightforward riding Notes: A good option for those looking to route over to Lake Magadi from Mile 46 via a more challenging but scenic route.
