Steep hike, fast ascent up to the peak. Good training grounds for gaining elevation quickly. If doing it once isn’t enough, do it twice for elevation gain of about 2400ft.

Challenging but rewarding hike. Beautiful views of the pacific ocean, Point Mugu & the Santa Monica Mountains on Mugu Peak. Good training for quick elevation gain as the trail is steep from start to finish and gains approx. 1300ft in just over a mile. My favorite trail in the Santa Monicas.
