Battleship Lake Loop via Lake Trail(edit)

Overview

This moderate loop starts out by skirting the edge of Paradise Ponds and Paradise Meadows Trailhead. When you reach a junction keep right. The trail heads through the forest, passes a pond on the right, crosses Piggott Creek, then reaches Lake Helen MacKenzie. To complete the loop turn right at the junction. This is a good beach access spot.

The trail heads east along the shore, then passes a side trail to the designated campsites. The trail reaches another junction where you'll turn left and follow the shore of Battleship Lake. The trail drops back down into Paradise Meadows were you will complete the loop back to your car.

Children will enjoy supervised swimming in Lake Helen Mackenzie.
