South Falls via Canyon Trail(edit)

Overview

This is a moderately easy trail to access South Falls. One of the best falls in the park and located near the main parking area, you'll be able to walk behind the falls on this hike. There is a fairly good climb down and back up from the falls.

Getting Started

Park in the large parking lot @ Silver Falls State Park. A park entrance fee is required and can be obtained at the kiosk near the trailhead.

Taking Children

As long as you are good carrying small children, this would be a good trail for children.
