Overview

This is a moderate one way trail in San Isabel National Forest.

I considered it above moderate. You are hiking in a creek bed at times or around and over big rocks. Alot of loose rocks and considerably steep in areas. Bring hiking sticks so you do not slide on your butt.

Getting Started

Parking wasn't an issue.

Taking Children

Not child friendly.

Not very scenic til you get to the top. Look out for moose. I did not find this hike enjoyable. Thick high alpine forest the whole way.
