The trail segments closer to the lake are wonderful - well maintained, clearly marked, etc. However, the eastern section (farthest from the lake) was, when I went in July 2020, completely overgrown in parts and very difficult to get through. It's a really easy trail but there was so much overgrown that it was pretty unpleasant in that stretch, even though it was absolutely gorgeous. Might be better in the fall.
