An easy hike with minimal elevation gain. A remote part of the state but easy to get to with a paved road all the way to the trail head. This is a STUNNING area with jaw dropping, head spinning rock formations. Pit toilets and picnic area at the trailhead. Improved camping facilities at the base of the mountain. Strongly consider adding the drive through the Chiricahua Mountains on FR 42 to really absorb this beautiful area.
Echo Canyon Loop
Beautiful but to be avoided again temps above 80°, lots of stretches exposed to the sun!
