Lake Ingalls
Record wasn’t started for 1.75 miles. Add this to the total. A bit over 10 mi. I felt good most of the trip, knee pain occurred in the last 4-5 miles in descent.
Aches and injury attributed to a fall caused by an untied shoelace, 3.3 mi into the hike.
Generally - tracking on rocky terrain was made more risky & difficult due to sloppily loose shoes. I was far less sure-footed than is safe.

Carol
Got my annual Lake Ingalls Larch March in on a gorgeous fall day. We saw several mountain goats making their way down to Headlight Basin when we we were at Ingalls Pass. The larches were just about at their prime. The lake was blue and gorgeous. We took the basin route on our return. No snow on the trail!
