Overview
This is a moderate out and back trail in Siuslaw National Forest. This trail goes by Cummins Ridge West Trailhead.
The trail follows the route of an old logging road that has been closed for decades, but it doesn't feel like a road hike. There are no views, but the forest is lush and green and you can expect lots of solitude. You can make this hike as long as you like and turn around at any point.
Getting Started
The trail starts at the east end of the parking area.
Taking Children
This trail has a very gentle grade and is suitable for children. Since there is no viewpoint or destination along the way, you can customize the length to your child's abilities.
