Really great area from the start all the way up to the meadows. The section from the start to Perry Creek - easy breezy at least for me. After you pass the creek the incline gets serious. We scrambled a little right before the meadows because there was still snow up there and it was hard to find the trail, but all worth it when when you arrive in the meadows… wow all the view… breathtaking. Trail clean. Have plenty of water, bug spray and keep hiking 💖

Perry Creek
Very beautiful hike, but was on the challenging side mostly because of it’s length. There are 2 river crossings. The one above the falls is more difficult, but not too bad. Lots of variety throughout the hike. Most of the hike was shaded in the morning and reasonably in the afternoon which is nice for a warmer day. Lots of space in the meadows on the top to be spread out from people. On this Tuesday, we passed less than 10 people (a few groups) the entire day!
