Cool little hike that feels a lot longer than it is... probably because there's lots to look at :0)
Good elevation, fairly steep with lots of big man-made steps. The trail follows the stream pretty much the entire way up, so there's tons of little waterfalls / punchbowls. The trail is high above the creek, so be sure to take the small paths along the way to hit the viewing areas.
Near the end, there's a great smaller waterfall (pretty big, but smaller than Comet) that's a great spot for lunch. We carried on to Comet (only 200 feet farther), and came back to have lunch.
This was a GREAT running trail on the way down. Not too many hikers here, which is surprising because it was a perfect day ( the Paradise lot was full and there were TONS of cars still going up).
