Overview
This is an easy loop trail near Brevard, North Carolina. The trail follows a mostly-level route through rhododendron, open fields, and areas of beaver activity. It is an excellent beginner hike for children.
Getting Started
From Brevard, NC follow US 286 N 14.8 miles to the Pink Beds Picnic Area, which is just N of the Cradle of Forestry in America. The trail leaves from near the picnic shelter.
Taking Children
This is an easy hike for children as it has little elevation change.
