Armstrong East Ridge Loop
Good mostly shady hike for hot summer day.
East Ridge has steeper ascent than Pool Ridge. We started there and did loop.
Some nice views and stops.
Doable in sneakers, recommend hiking shoes for steep/loose track.
Trail was more like 5/5.6 miles.
Great Redwoods at the base.
