You can park at Black Flat parking 500 metres from Stonehouse.
For a shorter walk, park at Jumping Creek and walk to Blue To get up the stairs, up the hill and take the right turn a fair way up the hill, there’s a path in the right that takes you back to the river; or stay on the fire track and come back to jumping creek on the fire track.
2 hours from jumping creek back to black flat.
